"Role of Operation Manager as a Leader''
Nowadays, work in any field is growing globally at a high pace. the role of the operation manager is the essential factor or the key position in managing an organization's operations and taking it at the height of success. Handling operations in my opinion is not an easy task but yes it becomes easy for smart and intelligent employees.
First, let's explain what operation management is exactly- Operations management means taking your organization to the highest level of success by effectively managing your team, guiding them, and motivating them with a transparent medium of communication, with your strategic mentality, it is the position full of tough and complex challenges that need to be managed with problem-solving skills, emotional intelligence empathizing team by keeping eye on team members perspectives and feelings and emotions, decision making with intelligence. these are all things that are covered in operation management. the person who can handle all these is known as the operation manager.
Remember that you are the operation manager and handling as a leader. Now it is time to explain my favorite topic "Role of the operation manager as a leader". A leader is a savior who carries a shield in one hand in the battle of making any organization at the height of success. it is not easy to become a true leader. A true leader will never mentally pressurize / torture you but always support you and if there is any mistake from your end, he/ she will correct you or not fire you from the job.
I read somewhere that " A fruit tree is always bent because it has fruits and the giver is always kind likewise the person who has nothing to give does not bow down, because he hopes that someone will give him."
A leader is always strategic, intelligent, talented, and clear in communication but always humble and kind in nature. A true leader is a warrior who always carries a shield for their juniors,
Leadership doesn't mean that you are torturing weak people by showing them a negative attitude, don't be mistaken that the employees below you are your team, not your slaves whom you can rule. The real meaning of leadership is very important to understand, giving respect to the team is very important. you are in an organization that you have to make healthy not filthy.
Apply the below steps-
- Sometimes our employees can make mistakes then correct them not torture them, we all are human and trying to learn. if you become humble and kind your team will become your power.
- sometimes being rude is important and you should handle some situations with strictness as well but remember that you are the leader.
- Motivate your team.
- Guide your team.
- Give sessions to your team.
- Find out the grievances that are arising in the work environment and explore the remedies.
- Being a leader make strategy.
- train your team in every aspect.
